Raiders Tournament 2007

Last weekend, there was a two days tournament organized by the Raiders softball team, participated by 6 teams which was divided into 2 groups. Group A consists of Kensei, Cougars and Bramuda(Did I spell that right?), while Group B consists of Dragon, New 'G' and Raiders. The aim of the tournament was to have fun and to better the relation between the players. The players were actually mixed, picked from different teams, where as of our team, Kensei was the mixture of Kensei players and some are invited from PLK Zombies Softball Club.The 1st game on the 1st day was delayed due to rain, the game which was to be played at 0730 Hrs was played at 0900ish Hrs. We played that game and won 6-3 against Bramuda. As for me it was quite an experience since that was the first game I played as a 1st baseman, and didnt commit any error.

For our 2nd game, it was against the Cougars, the mixture of Black Arrows, Gunners, and may be some from other team as well, so sorry guys I dont remember, we lost that game which I tends to forget the score. Oh well we managed to proceed to the semi against the Raiders when the Cougars beat the Bramuda on the 2nd day.

We played well against the Raiders consider that this is the first tournament all the real Kensei players played, we managed to win the game 6-5, Do I only remember the score when we win? Hmmm anyway the final was between us and the Cougars who have beaten New 'G' in the other semi if I'm not mistaken 13-3.

Unfortunately the final has to be postponed due to heavy downpour late yesterday afternoon. The final will be played on a friday after Aidilfitri before the sunday, the President's cup resume.

2nd Merdeka Day Mixed Softball Carnival - Day 2

It was the day we played our first game, against a team also from Brunei the All-stars. It was a very hot Miri saturday. We played 4 games where we lost against the All-stars and Miri Stealers and won against Wolf from Miri and Knights from Brunei. Actually not bad for us since our target for first day was just 2 wins or better.

First day in Miri

Its the first day or must I say the first night in miri. Well I departed from home at quarter to 6 pm, that was after a function. Then I picked up bobby then AD at their respective place, then meet up with our friends at K.K koya restaurant in Telisai, a bit advert I hope.

After a cup of nescafe that I drank, we start our journey to Miri Sarawak, to participate in a Softball tournament. If I'm not mistaken it's the 2nd mixed modified merdeka softball tournament, in conjunction with the Malaysia 50th independence day. It is actually a modified pitch thing, where almost like a slow pitch softball played with an extra player. But the player are mixed, where minimum 3 ladies must play at one time. where the ISF rules still applied, and this year only bats with ASA certified are allowed.

As we arrived at the Imperial Hotel in Miri, where we'll be staying until sunday, our team management welcome us with our apartment key, then urged us to have our dinner at if I'm not mistaken Madli's Restaurant, another advert there.

Anyway tomorrow at 8 am, will be our first game against the All Star, hope we do well in that game. Sorry no pics yet since i'm kinda slow, hopefully there will be some tomorrow.

Birthday Ball

My birthday may well have past, but yesterday I was given a Mizuno 150 as my birthday present. Its kinda special since that will be the first of any kind of ball given to me as a gift. Thank you very much to all of you, I dont think I have to mention names since picture says thousand words. Oh by the way, thanks also for all the stuffs inside the box, really helps you know, very kind of you and I really appreciated them.
